Afghanistan: Dozens dead in flash floods, seasonal rain fury

Afghanistan’s Taliban government confirmed that heavy flooding due to seasonal rains has killed dozens and injured at least 27 over three days last week.

Flash floods hit Kabul and several other provinces across Afghanistan, said Abdullah Janan Saiq, the Taliban’s spokesman for the State Ministry for Natural Disaster Management.
