2,500 Indians cross Bangladesh border to vote in Tripura

Around 2,500 Indians crossed the border between Bangladesh and India to cast their votes in Tripura on 19 April. 

Indian border officials kept the border gates open in order to facilitate the voting process, even though a substantial number of voters had to stay beyond the barbed wire fence for historical reasons.
